Honduran Here, I decided to watch this because I have noticed that my Spanish (Costeño de la Ceiba) sounds different than those from people near the Salvadoran border, and the Guatemalan border, and also people with our Central American Neutral accent, and those near Nicaragua. After watching this video, I realized that Honduras and Colombia have a lot in common when it comes to varients in accents

Definitely solid advice, especially with the vowels. Hambre and hombre are easy to screw up if you’re not careful. I can hear the difference but sometimes the native Spanish speakers, I’m screwing it up.

Tip that worked for me as a struggling English speaker. Try smiling as wide as you can, bite down completely, then place your tongue on the roof of your mouth and blow out hard. Get used to that feeling and tongue placement.

Where are you from? I go to Mexico every year, so I'm trying to learn. I haven't heard the strong j sound for y. Is that common everywhere? I do hear a B sound for V, but you pronounced your V in Vi. I confuse easily!
